Region 4 Child Nutrition provides a comprehensive range of technical services designed to assist in meeting federal, state, and local program requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture's National School Lunch Program. Child Nutrition staff conduct SMI technical assistance reviews, provide technical assistance in preparing districts for the CRE, offer trainings during the school year, and provide summer workshops for administrative and campus food service personnel.
